RAISING THINKERS PTY LTD
Trading as Raising Thinkers
Last updated: May 2025
Raising Thinkers Pty Ltd (ABN: [Insert ABN]), trading as Raising Thinkers ("we", "us", "our"), is an Australian company based in Adelaide, South Australia. We provide educational programs, resources, and content designed to support parents and their children through the transition from primary school to secondary school.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your children. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and the Australian Children’s Online Privacy Code (once in effect from December 2026).
Because our programs involve content created for children aged 10–13, we take additional care in how we handle information related to minors. Please read this policy carefully. By accessing our website, downloading our resources, or enrolling in our programs, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you interact with our website, download our free resources, enrol in our programs, or contact us, we may collect:
Your name and email address — when you download a free guide, subscribe to our email list, or purchase a program
Payment information — when you purchase a program (processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your credit card details)
Your child’s first name and age range — only if you voluntarily provide this when enrolling in a program, so we can tailor the experience to the appropriate age group
Feedback, testimonials, and survey responses — when you voluntarily share your experience with our programs
Communication records — when you contact us via email, social media, or other channels
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, certain information may be collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies:
Device and browser information — device type, operating system, browser type
Usage data — pages visited, time spent on pages, click patterns, referring URLs
IP address and general location — used for analytics and to understand which regions our audience is located in
Advertising data — if you arrive via a Facebook or Instagram ad, the Meta Pixel may collect data about your interaction with our ad and website (see Section 7)
Because The Bridge Program includes content designed for children aged 10–13, we take the following additional steps to protect children’s privacy. We consider these commitments to be among the most important in this entire policy.
3.1 We Do Not Collect Personal Information Directly from Children
Our programs are purchased and managed by parents or guardians. Children access course content through their parent’s account. We do not require children to create their own accounts, provide their email addresses, or submit any personal information to access our content. There are no child-facing forms, logins, or data collection points anywhere on our platform.
3.2 We Do Not Advertise to Children
All of our marketing, advertising, and email communications are directed exclusively at parents and guardians. We do not run ads targeting children, and we do not use children’s data for any advertising, profiling, or targeting purpose.
3.3 We Do Not Track Children’s Online Activity
We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking technologies to monitor or profile children’s behaviour. Any analytics tools on our website (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) track parent interactions only. Children’s content is delivered through the parent’s account, and no individual child activity data is recorded, stored, or analysed.
3.4 We Do Not Share Children’s Information with Third Parties
If a parent voluntarily provides their child’s first name or age during enrolment, this information is used solely to personalise the course experience. It is never shared with third parties, used for marketing, or combined with any other data source.
3.5 Parental Consent and Control
Because all accounts are managed by parents, the act of enrolling in our program and providing information constitutes parental consent for any limited data associated with their child’s participation. Parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any information related to their child at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
3.6 Compliance with Australian Children’s Online Privacy Code
We are committed to complying with the Australian Children’s Online Privacy Code when it comes into effect in December 2026. Our current practices are designed to meet or exceed the requirements being developed under this Code, including the principles of data minimisation, best interests of the child, and age-appropriate privacy protections.
